Arousal Disorder

Arousal disorder affects approximately 30% of women with female sexual dysfunction. Women with arousal problems may or may not have the desire for intercourse, but they have difficulty maintaining arousal during foreplay or sex, or have difficulty becoming aroused. This can stem from hormonal conditions, stress, or other physical ailments.

Signs of arousal disorder can be lack of vaginal lubrication, decreased genital stimulation and decrease in genital swelling.

Dr. Gittens is fellowship trained in sexual medicine and expert at treating this problem. We form an effective treatment plan for your symptoms of decreased sexual arousal allowing you to function at your best.
