Low Libido

Low libido (aka hypoactive sexual desire disorder) is a common complaint among women. It is characterized as lack or absence of sexual fantasies and desire for sexual activity (low sexual desire).  There are multiple factors that can decrease our desire such as hormonal changes, family and stress. As time goes on, the situation can cause emotional distress, depression and even alienation from your partner. This is why it is important to seek answers to why you may not feel as sexually healthy as you used to.

In order to determine the best course of treatment, at Philadelphia Center for Sexual Medicine or New York Center for Sexual Medicine we will consider your medical history and pertinent information while undergoing a thorough evaluation.  Dr. Gittens provides effective treatment for your low libido to help you obtain the sexual drive you are lacking.
